Getting a Training Contract at A&O Shearman

Owen Wilson founded his own tutoring company, worked as a restaurant supervisor and led a 27-member committee as President of Goodricke College at York. He secured a training contract at A&O Shearman, after a winter vacation scheme. In this session, he shares how he made it work.

Join us as Owen walks through his background and route into law, how he approached the application process, and what he focused on at assessment centres and during his vacation scheme.

The session will close with a live Q&A where you can ask Owen anything about his experience, balancing a degree with work and applications, or life as a future trainee.
